Every July 4th, Kirkland reveals its heart—and I get to photograph it.

This year’s Celebrate Kirkland Parade was less about spectacle and more about spirit. As a local photographer, I arrived early with two camera bodies, a fresh memory card, and the familiar buzz of community pride echoing through my viewfinder.
